Abstract
A fish passage structure is being evaluated for its effectiveness in facilitating the migration of adult salmonids past the tailrace of a powerhouse on the Sultan River, Washington. This report describes the background of the development of the fish passage structure and the methods used to evaluate its effectiveness. Field studies which implement the methods described in this paper are currently in progress. Therefore, final results are not available for publication in the symposium's proceedings. Preliminary results will be presented at the symposium.
