Abstract
None supplied. From executive summary: Impediments to fish migration are regarded as a major problem in the sustainability of native fish communities in the Murray-Darling Basin. Optimising fish passage throughout the basin has been a major objective of the Fish Management Plan for the Murray River since 1991 (Lawrence 1991). This study was undertaken in an attempt to get a butter understanding of the impact of weirs on downstream fish movement.
