Submission Guidelines

Guidelines for Submission to HOSTEUR™ Webzine

Educators as well as industry representatives from all segments of the hospitality and tourism field are invited and encouraged to contribute articles for publication in HOSTEUR™. Submissions should be global in scope, giving equal consideration to North America, Europe and the Asian Basin. All submissions, reviews and correspondence is conducted electronically at the following URL address: http://scholarworks.umass.edu/hosteur/.

  • Articles submitted should be between 1,500 and 3,000 words. It is assumed that works offered have not been published or submitted elsewhere, unless otherwise indicated. All submissions should follow Associated Press style.
  • Please submit manuscripts electronically (with the article’s title and author(s) name(s) clearly indicated).
  • Submissions should be in WORD format using 12 point Times Roman, double-spaced and should not include any individual document formatting including headers, footers, or subtext. Only documents submitted according to these guidelines will be considered for publication.
  • Submissions are reviewed by the Executive Editors, Editorial Review Board members, as well as student reviewers, who critique submissions for “student readership quality.”
