Gary Ellis is professor and Department Head in the Department of Recreation, Park and Tourism Sciences at Texas A&M University. His research interests are in recreation and tourism experience and service quality. Tazim Jamal is associate professor in that department. Her research interests are in sustainable tourism, heritage tourism and tourism theory. Kelly Jiang is doctoral student and senior research associate. Kelly’s research interests are in tourist/recreationists’ experiences, with particular attention to crowding.
