ETI's research takes place at the nexus of renewable energy generation and storage, the electric grid, energy policy, and the global climate. Students, faculty, and community work together to figure out how best to inform the design of technologies, grid algorithms, market solutions, and policy mechanisms for fundamental change. In order to account for the complex and shifting realities of the electricity system, the goals of social and economic equity, and the uncertain and changing nature of the climate, dialogue across these sectors and the communities they interface with are necessary. This vision requires convergence between engineering, computer science, natural sciences, and the social sciences. We are glad you are here, and we welcome you to engage with the research that has developed within our research incubator.
