Introduction
Dr. Mary Andrianopoulos is an associate professor at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. Her research interests and clinical expertise are in the areas of motor speech disorders, subjective and quantitative acoustic-perceptual measurement of the human voice, differential diagnosis and rehabilitation of motor speech and voice disorders, neuropathologies of acquired and neurodevelopmental disorders affecting motor speech and voice, including Autism Spectrum Disorders. She completed a two-year post-doctoral fellowship in medical speech pathology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. She is the author of several journal publications, book chapters and training manuals and has presented her research internationally. She is a reviewer for the: American Journal of Speech Language Pathology, Language Speech and Hearing in the Schools, Folia Phoniatrica et Logopaedica and the New Investigators Program for the Voice Foundation. She is the recipient of numerous outstanding teaching awards and serves as an adjunct faculty in the Department of Cognitive Science at the University of Athens in Greece.
