INTRODUCTION: 5 minutes Defining Open Pedagogy and OER-enabled Pedagogy Explaining why OER is only the first step in transforming education in the 21st century and the need to include OER-enabled pedagogy PART 1: 10 minutes Describing the different OER-enabled pedagogy projects in which the faculty member and the students had been involved. PART 2: 5 minutes Asking the members of the audience what other type of OER-enabled pedagogy projects they had been involved in. PART 3: 10 minutes Explaining how the faculty member created quantitative and qualitative assessment tools to evaluate the student understanding and use of the different Liberal Arts skills and how students will be able to use these skills in a professional environment. Describing how to use this assessment in the tenure and promotion application. PART 4: 10 minutes Assessing OER-enabled pedagogy from students who participated in specific projects.
