The scope of the term 'fishway' has been influenced by conditions of licensing prescribed by the Departments of Commerce and/or Interior for the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to accomplish fish passage at five hydroelectric projects in the Northeast. These are the Lynchburg, New York State, Harvell, Battersea, and Yaleville Projects. For each, the fishway issue, the unique conditions of the prescription, and an overview of the project are presented.
