Abstract
This panel features students who have engaged in open pedagogy projects during previous semesters and are now participating in new initiatives that incorporate generative artificial intelligence. Join us to hear their perspectives on the ethical implications of using generative AI in the creation of Open Educational Resources and its broader impact on education. The panelists will share their insights on how AI both supports and challenges their development of essential liberal arts skills, including critical thinking, creativity, ethical reasoning, and communication. Lastly, they will highlight how the intersection of Open Pedagogy and AI has enriched their personal and professional growth, equipping them to tackle future opportunities and challenges.
