Abstract
This paper describes the use of the Instream Flow Incremental Methodology to determine instream flow requirements for a small hydroelectric project in California. The negotiated stream flow schedule is significantly different from that which would be required using only fish habitat/discharge relationships. Other environmental factors considered in this analysis include: flow duration, flow occurrence frequency, flow volume, and water temperature.
