Abstract
"How do students learn to translate knowledge gained from their coursework into real-life situations and develop the skills they will need to effectively respond to a world of constant change? This session explores how the Integrative Knowledge Portfolio Process supports students to connect, reflect on and apply the different types of knowledge, skills and capacities they’ve gained from academic and other contexts. Dr. Peet will provide an overview of a series of innovative learning methods that support integrative knowledge and present research that demonstrates the effectiveness of these methods on both educators and students.
