In this paper, the author describes the function evaluation for fishways in the points of view of fish migrations. This investigation was carried out by fact-finding measures. It is indicated from recent observed results that a maintenance of aquatic life, ecological systems, and safety of headworks during floods should be considered in the phase of fishway construction.
