This 90-minute hands-on workshop explores how to engage neurodivergent students as co-creators in developing Open Educational Resources (OER). By centering Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility (IDEA), participants will learn strategies to empower students as co-designers in their education while fostering a sense of belonging and leadership. The session will highlight successful examples of neurodivergent student collaboration in OER development and provide resources for hosting student co-authored content. Through interactive brainstorming activities, participants will generate actionable ideas for incorporating students as co-designers in their courses and enhancing the neuroinclusivity of their OER. Participants will leave with a toolkit of strategies to build more inclusive, diverse, and equitable learning environments and communities.
