Department Chair: Kathryn A. McDermott

The EPRA department promotes scholarship and pedagogy focused on cutting-edge education policy issues in four academic concentrations: Educational Leadership; Higher Education; International Education; and Psychometric Methods, Educational Statistics, and Research Methods (formerly the Research & Evaluation Methods Program). Faculty and graduate students engage in research, outreach, and learning activities that integrate theoretical perspectives with current issues of policy and practice. The department contributes to scholarly discourse, policy deliberations, and leadership development, relying on advanced educational research and evaluation methodologies.

The Massachusetts Community College Leadership Academy (CCLA) provides an avenue through which community colleges can prepare their future leaders while supporting existing talent.
