The wetted perimeter method for determining stream flow requirements ay hydroelectric sites being rehabilitated (where flows can be regulated) is described at Lochmere Dam, in New Hampshire. Depth and velocity criteria are evaluated for stream flows near the inflection point. The method cost-effectively provides for maintenance of fishery values.
