None supplied. From introduction: This is the proceedings of a fish passage symposium presented by the Bioengineering Section of the American Fisheries Society. It was presented as part of the 1993 American Fisheries Society annual meeting in Portland Oregon, USA. The objective of the symposium was to present current policies, concepts, and research regarding upstream and downstream passage of migrating fish; to share histories, successes, and failures so that we may all benefit from them. The symposium was divided into three segments: (1) Fish Passage Management and Policy, (2) Upstream Fish Passage Technology, and (3) Downstream Fish Passage Technology.
