From introduction: In addition to the Atlantic salmon smolt entrainment study conducted in 1993, a radiotagging study of salmon smolts was conducted to provide additional information on entrainment. Tagged fish were released closer to the plant intake than in 1992 in an attempt to maximize the number of test specimens passing the plant during the pumping cycle.
