Beyond Cost Savings: OER’s Game Changing Effect on Increasing Collaboration and Inspiring Local Initiatives

Session Abstract

The leadership team of the Massachusetts Community Colleges Go Open project will share the process of how an idea evolved into a successful statewide initiative. As a direct result of this work, 120 faculty from 14 community colleges collaborated to save students $1.2 million in textbook costs this year alone.
