Abstract
The effects are examined on standard model predictions of ε′ which are generated by electromagnetism and by isospin breaking due to quark mass differences. Such corrections are potentially important because the first-order result is strongly suppressed by the Image rule. A factor of two or three reduction is found in the predicted value of ε′/ε.
