Publication Date

Journal or Book Title

AIP CONFERENCE PROCEEDINGS

Abstract

I discuss some of the recent issues in hadron spectroscopy. Some of the directions for the quark model are mentioned. A separate section is devoted entirely to the issues raised by the reaction pip --> phiphin. This section is probably the most novel of the talk and it reflects the various conflicts and discussions of the subject at the conference. Some brief comments on glueball candidates are also given.
