In private hands, the plantation house grounds are well preserved. The report presents both the historical documents and references as well as the existing conditions and makes recommendations for stabilization of the historic landscape remnants. This report was the result of a field studies class held at the University of Michigan, School of Natural Resources and the Environment, in Landscape Architecture.
