Data for this study were generated by surveys to an online panel of respondents. A total of 543 completed surveys were used. The results indicated that different social media have different impacts on both travel planning and travel experience sharing following the trip. This study demonstrated the significance of examining different social media in order to understand its role in constructing travel consumption behaviors.
