Increasingly we hear how critical the experience in the classroom is to student success and persistence. However, what role do we expect students to perform in the classroom and how well acquainted are they with that role? What do we need to do to help students develop for themselves a successful model of being a college student? This session addresses these questions in an attempt to help each of us respond, if only tentatively, as we work to clarify expectations and frame our own answers.
