Ashley Schroeder, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor in the School of Travel Industry Management at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, as well as the Managing Director of the Tourism Crisis Management Initiative at the University of Florida. Her research agenda focuses on proactive tourism crisis management.

Lori Pennington-Gray, Ph.D. is the Director of the Tourism Crisis Management Initiative at the University of Florida, as well as a Professor in the Department of Tourism, Recreation and Sport Management. Her major research initiative is in tourism crisis management and how destinations respond to crises.
