Mr. Clement Cabral is a Research Scholar in the Department of Management Studies, Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, Uttarakhand, India. He is currently working on his Ph.D. thesis on the research area - Human Resource Management and Organisational Behaviour under the supervision of Dr. Rajib Lochan Dhar.

Abstract (150 Words)

The purpose of the paper is to formulate a model that establishes the relationship between of constructs such as green training, green competencies and employees’ quality of service. The study has two objectives, first, to identify the direct impact of green training on improving employees’ service quality. Second, to establish the mediating relationship of green competencies between green training and employees’ service quality. The survey method was used to collect data from employees in Indian tour operators. The hypothesised model was statistical analysed with PLS-SEM and it was examined through statistical software SmartPLS. The study established the direct relationship that exists between green training and service quality and mediated relationship of green competencies between green training and service quality.
