Abstract (150 Words)

The key research question is whether hotel resources and the notion of the Crafting Strategy (CS) can be utilized to predict hotel resilience. This research aims to build a multi-dimensional model for hotel resilience, integrating hotel resources and the CS approach, which is also the novelty of this study. This research will also extend the CS concept (Mintzberg, 1987) by adding the experimental dimension, which is becoming increasingly important given the complexity and dynamics of the hotel sector while giving empirical evidence on the role of CS as a resilience predictor.

Ultimately, this study will contribute to the organizational resilience literature, especially in the hotel sector, and shed new light on the CS concept. Upon completion, the model and operational attributes will be valuable in guiding hotel managers in evaluating, improving, and building their resilience.
