Abstract (150 Words)

A decade of research has produced substantial results, but the theorisation of memorable tourism experience remains fuzzy and fragmented. This paper systematically reviews, synthesises, and integrates the extant body of knowledge on memorable tourism experience. Adopting state-of-the-art practices, this review identifies 56 relevant papers published from 2012– 2020 across multiple literature streams (tourism, hospitality and marketing). Our review synthesises the antecedents, dimensions and outcomes of memorable tourism experience into an organising framework. The article identifies several gaps in the literature, advances a theoretical and methodological agenda for future research and serves as a solid foundation for researchers by highlighting the current trends, theories and practices in the study of memorable tourism experience.
