Session Abstract

This presentation will showcase the OER Initiative at Baruch College, run out of the Center for Teaching and Learning. We will highlight our efforts to achieve sustainable scale while not losing a faculty and student centered approach.

Presenter Bios

Andrew McKinney is an OER Fellow at Baruch College’s Center for Teaching and Learning and PhD candidate in Sociology at the CUNY Graduate Center. He is also the Senior Digital Pedagogy Fellow at the New York City College of Technology’s (City Tech) OpenLab and an Instructional Designer for City Tech’s OER Initiative.

Pamela Thielman is an Open Educational Resources Fellow at Baruch College and a Ph.D. candidate in Theatre and Performance at The Graduate Center, where she also completed the certificate program in Interactive Technology and Pedagogy.

Allison Lehr Samuels is the Director of the Center for Teaching and Learning and a Lecturer with a focus on Entrepreneurship in Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College.
