Abstract
We note that the 93.1 MeV value of the pion decay constant used by most investigators is nearly a per cent too large due to the incomplete inclusion of radiative corrections in its extraction. The new value 92.4 MeV, when combined with the value of the nucleon axial coupling gA, gives improved agreement with the Gorger-Treiman relation.
