dc.description<p><em>About the Open Textbook Network</em></p> <p><strong>The Open Textbook Network</strong> (OTN) is a consortium of institutions working to:</p> <p>- help faculty overcome barriers to open textbook adoption.</p> <p>- increase institutional capacity to support adoption and use of open textbooks.</p> <p>- collaboratively develop new understandings of open textbook adoption and use. </p>
dc.description.abstractA two-hour session where faculty will discover open textbooks in their field. After the workshop, faculty will be asked to write a short review of an open textbook. Their review will benefit other faculty considering open textbooks. They will receive a $200 stipend for their participation and written review.
